1. Introduction

These Terms of Service set out the agreement between DT Building & Maintenance (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the customer (“you”).
By booking a service, requesting a quote, or using our website, you agree to these terms.

2. Services Provided

We offer building, maintenance, and renovation services including (but not limited to):

  • Repairs

  • Maintenance and inspections

  • Plumbing and electrical work

  • Decorating, carpentry, and tiling

  • Structural works, extensions, and refurbishments

All work is carried out to a professional standard by qualified personnel.

3. Quotes & Pricing

  • Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

  • Any changes to the original scope may affect the original price.

  • Additional work requested by the customer will be quoted separately.

  • Emergency call-outs or out-of-hours work may incur additional charges.

4. Deposits & Payments

  • Some projects may require a deposit before work begins.

  • Full payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed.

  • Payments can be made by bank transfer or agreed methods.

  • Late payments may incur fees.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • You may cancel or reschedule with 48 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a charge.

  • If we need to reschedule, we will provide as much notice as possible.

6. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the job

  • Ensure safe access to the property

  • Inform us of any hazards, restrictions, or structural concerns

  • Obtain any permissions required (e.g., landlord approval)

7. Delays & Unforeseen Issues

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Weather conditions

  • Supplier delays

  • Safety concerns

  • Hidden structural issues found during work

Any necessary changes will be discussed with you before proceeding.

8. Materials & Guarantees

  • Materials used will meet current industry standards.

  • Product warranties are provided by the manufacturer.

  • We guarantee our workmanship for a reasonable period (e.g. 6–12 months depending on job type).

9. Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage

  • Issues caused by third-party contractors

  • Damage resulting from instructions given against our advice

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for negligence causing injury or death.

10. Website Use

By using our website, you agree not to misuse the site or attempt unauthorized access.
